So, it’s obviously been a LONG time since I updated. Once so much time has gone by, it’s hard to know where to start in order to catch up. So… I scrolled through my photos and figured I’d grab the ones showing what we’ve been up to… all the way back to Halloween! 

After Halloween we traveled to Memphis, celebrated Thanksgiving, did a little cooking and celebrated the holidays with friends. If you click on the photos, the captions should give a bit more insight 🙂

I apologize for not updating more frequently. Lately I’ve been consulting part-time for a friend (see the caramels photo!) and her new cooking school venture. I’m still advocating for better beauty with Beautycounter (see the photo of all of the products I stopped using!!) and am looking for the missing piece to the puzzle. I’m not sure if that’s a new full-time job, taking classes and making a career change or hustling to keep things moving, but I’m letting 2016 take it’s course and planning to enjoy the ride (and all the travel planned over the next 12 months!).

We saw the ducks at The Peabody Hotel! They swim in the fountain all day and then roll out the red carpet so they can go home & sleep.

These are all the products I pulled from my bathroom and haven’t used since because they have toxic ingredients inside.

After Thanksgiving dinner we had some in-depth conversations.

My pumpkin trifle – have made this almost every year, I think it’s my only tradition.

Kelly and I visited Duff’s Cakemix in West Hollywood – these are my creations.

Kyle and I took a Caramel & Truffle making class at The Gourmandise School – this is everything we brought home! Didn’t last long…
